Alliance for Workforce Development, Inc. -  A regional nonprofit that  provides a comprehensive array of workforce development services and operates One-Stop Employment Centers in Quincy, Susanville and Alturas and coming soon to Sierra County, the Sierra Work Connection.  Our Transit Department operates the Plumas County Transit System under contract with Plumas County.

California Department of Rehabilitation -  Information to assist Californians with disabilities in obtaining and retaining employment and maximizing their ability to live independently in their communities

California Employment Development Department - Your direct link to job placement and  referrals, unemployment insurance, disability insurance, employment and training, labor market information, employment taxes, and more!

LassenWORKs - A department of the Lassen County Health and Human Services, LassenWORKs staff provide employment services to individuals and families on public assistance assisting them in reaching self-sufficiency.

Lassen College - Located in Susanville, this college provides local educational opportunities in a "small town setting" affording the best of the best for all it's students.                     

Experience Works Mature Worker Program - Experience Works (Green Thumb, Inc.), is America's oldest and largest provider of mature- and disadvantaged-worker training and employment 

Plumas Corporation  - Plumas Corporation is the county's non-profit economic development entity, chartered in 1983.  Our services are carried out in three primary functional areas: general economic and business development, visitor attraction (through the Plumas County Visitors Bureau) and natural resources (primarily through the Feather River Coordinated Resource Management group). Plumas Corporation publishes 

a quarterly newsletter, Partnerships.

Plumas County Department of Social Services (CalWORKS)

The array of services includes child and adult protective services, in home supportive services, employment and temporary cash assistance services under CalWORKS, food and medical
assistance and temporary cash loans.

Plumas County Office of Education - The Plumas County Office of Education is an independent agency dedicated to providing innovative opportunities for lifelong learning and coordinated support services to the community.
Plumas County Mental Health - Confidential counseling and supportive assistance provided throughout Plumas County.

Plumas County Veteran's Services - To administer the laws providing benefits and other services to veterans and their dependents and the beneficiaries of  veterans.
Plumas Rural Services - A large, diversified non-profit that provides services to all members of the community.
Small Business Development Center (SBDC) -  Sierra College SBDC offers one-on-one business counseling, group training, and business start-up, retention, and expansion services throughout northeastern California.
