• Improve Bottom Line

There are twelve training modules in the Supervisory Training series. Classroom programs are approximately four hours in length, except for the initial module, Essential Skills of Leadership, which is six hours in length. Staff from One-Stop assist with opening of new restaurant

Hungry Moose Restaurant

The Hungry Moose restaurants are owned and operated by Tony and Darrelyne Klein. They currently have four Northern California restaurants with locations in Burney, Weed, Mt. Shasta and the newest one in Susanville.

The Klein's took possession of a restaurant location and in eleven days remodeled and opened on May 10th. This was quite a task that required a lot of organization, dedication and hard work. In order to meet their grand opening date, they enlisted the Alliance for Workforce Development, Inc. to provide them with human resource services, including job descriptions, recruitment assistance, labor law information and the rewriting of their personnel policy.

The Klein's participated in the Job Fair, subsequently hiring 15 people. We were able to assist them with all their human resource needs, thus allowing them to focus on the task at hand-the opening of their restaurant.

The restaurant is doing very well. According to Darrelyne, "The Alliance for Workforce Development, Inc. in Susanville has been the best that we have ever worked with!" We look forward to continuing our relationship with the Hungry Moose.
