| HEADLINE STORY - BIG NEWS!! WORK CONNECTION OPENS 1953 E. Main Street, Quincy 283-WORK OPEN HOUSE , March 1, 2005, 4:00 - 6:00pm
Over 100 guests attended the Work Connection Open House event held on Tuesday, March 1 from 4:00 to 6:00pm. Business owners, agency representatives, board members, and job seekers received tours of the facility and were able to have their questions answered about the new building and the services that are offered. The Quincy High School Regional Occupational Program (ROP) Culinary Arts students provided the catering for the Open House. The food was excellent featuring puff pastries, assorted deli trays and topped off with chocolate dipped strawberries. Culinary Arts instructor Connie Garrish and the students did an outstanding job serving our guests. Information about Work Connection services, Feather River College Nursing Programs, and the Workforce Development Team were on display as well as information about the care put into the planning and construction of the new office. Alliance for Workforce Development, Inc. thanks all those businesses, contractors, and agencies that made the new WORK CONNECTION happen! It was truly a team effort.
